As the sporting calendar hots up, BetMGM is the latest sportsbook to refresh its platforms.
Purposefully targeting the start of the NFL betting season, the operator that now trades in over 20 states has delivered a cleaner, fresher feel to its apps along with updated promos, contests and enhanced features.
The upgraded online presence is currently accompanied by a new promotional campaign featuring movie star and long-time brand ambassador Jamie Foxx.
You might have already seen the initial TV ad featuring Foxx that premiered during the first weekend of NFL action.
A second will be aired later this month. The series is also featuring heavily in various other internet, social media and Out of Home channels such as billboards and bus shelters.
The refreshed BetMGM app has undergone some cosmetic changes that regular users might not even notice at first. After a little while though, it becomes obvious that the pages load quicker and scroll more smoothly. It makes for a much neater experience.
BetMGM has also streamlined its offering across multiple states to make it easier for those who place bets while traveling the nation. Nevada is now the only US state in which BetMGM customers will be unable to log in and access their account, balance and open bets from a single app.
There are also a slew of new features that will enable BetMGM to stand out against the competition. The first that will particularly appeal to football bettors but also those who like to bet on the NBA, as well as fans of MLB betting, is the introduction of Same Game Parlay+.
It’s variously estimated that same game parlays now account for 20 to 30 percent of all bets placed on the biggest sports in the US. Therefore it makes total sense for BetMGM to upgrade its same game parlay product.
Same Game Parlay+ allows users to combine more than one same game parlay for a higher potential payout.
For a recent example, you could have amalgamated a same game parlay on the Buffalo Bills on a -6.5 spread and a total of under 46 points in their fixture against the LA Raiders. That would have given you odds of +320.
Then you could have added the New York Jets on a spread of +9.5 for their game against the Dallas Cowboys and include the over of 38.5 points. That would have enhanced your new SGP+ odds considerably to +1400.
BetMGM has also added some cool new sportsbook promos to its betting menu. There are now more odds boosts including localized options such as 50 per cent higher prices on the Jets when they’re playing live for those betting in New York.
You’ll also find same game parlay insurance applied to certain markets and the chance to earn tokens to boost the odds on SGPs. In addition, BetMGM has added some new competitions to its armory.
These include the Survivor Pool where participants pick one team per week to win. Those who make a successful prediction progress for the chance to win $100,000 as the last customer standing.
Alternatively, BetMGM is building on its links with Barry Sanders, one of the most famous running backs of all time, as the front to a host of interactive games with the opportunity to collect bet bonuses, boosts and other prizes.
And finally, new customers wishing to give all of this a go will also find more generous BetMGM sign-up offers than ever before, including up to $1,000 in bonus bets using the promo code NYSBMGM. All in all, it’s really quite an impressive upgrade.
